1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at canvas-medical.com and your engagement with the services offered by CANVAS Medical Clinic Sdn. Bhd. ("CANVAS", "we", "us" or "our"), located at Gurney Walk, No. 18A Persiaran Gurney, 10250 George Town, Penang, Malaysia.

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Medical Disclaimer

The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Individual results from aesthetic and medical treatments vary and cannot be guaranteed.

All treatments at CANVAS are carried out following an in-person consultation with a qualified physician. The physician's assessment and recommendation at consultation constitutes the medical advice relevant to your individual situation — not any information on this website.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or proceed to your nearest emergency department immediately. Do not rely on this website for urgent medical guidance.

3. Consultation and Appointments

Booking: Appointments are confirmed via WhatsApp following submission of our consultation form or direct contact. A booking is confirmed only when you receive confirmation from a CANVAS team member.

Cancellation and rescheduling: We ask that you give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking.

Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to shorten or reschedule your session to avoid disrupting other patients.

Right to decline treatment: Our physicians reserve the right to decline or postpone any treatment where they judge it to be medically inadvisable, even after a consultation has been booked. Your safety is always our priority.

4. Payments and Refunds

Pricing: Prices quoted are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are subject to change. The price applicable to your treatment will be confirmed at consultation before any procedure begins.

Payment: Payment is due in full at the time of service, unless a specific payment plan has been arranged and documented in writing by CANVAS.

Packages: Prepaid treatment packages are non-refundable once sessions have commenced. Unused sessions in a package may be transferred to another patient with our prior written consent. If CANVAS is unable to provide any remaining sessions due to clinic closure or other circumstances outside your control, a pro-rated refund will be offered.

Refund policy: Refunds are not available for completed treatments. If you are dissatisfied with your treatment outcome, we invite you to discuss your concerns directly with your physician, who will work with you on an appropriate resolution within the bounds of clinical possibility.

5. Patient Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide complete and accurate information about your medical history, current medications, allergies and any previous treatments during your consultation.
• Follow all pre- and post-treatment instructions given by your physician.
• Inform CANVAS of any adverse reactions or unexpected symptoms promptly.
• Attend all recommended follow-up appointments.

CANVAS cannot be held responsible for outcomes adversely affected by incomplete disclosure of your medical history.

6. Photographs and Consent

Clinical photographs taken before, during or after treatment are used solely for your medical record and for assessing treatment outcomes. They are not used in any marketing materials, social media or public content without your explicit written consent.

Where you provide written consent for your results to be shared (anonymised or identified), you may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us in writing.

7. Website Use

All content on this website — including text, images, designs and graphics — is the intellectual property of CANVAS Medical Clinic or its licensors and is protected by Malaysian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

We are not responsible for the content of any external websites linked from this site. Links are provided for convenience only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, CANVAS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from a treatment shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific treatment.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the date of last update. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
