Therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) — also called apheresis or plasmapheresis — is an established medical procedure in which blood is drawn, the plasma fraction is separated and exchanged, and the blood components are returned to the body. In doing so, accumulated waste proteins, inflammatory mediators and other plasma-borne factors are removed. Long used in hospital medicine, TPE is now also applied in physician-supervised wellness and longevity programmes.

How it works
- Screening & consultation. Your physician reviews your health history and blood work, and determines whether TPE, infusion therapy — or neither — is appropriate for you.
- Protocol design. Session type, exchange volumes or infusion formulation, and programme frequency are prescribed individually, not sold as packages first.
- Monitored treatment session. TPE sessions run through a dedicated apheresis system with continuous monitoring; infusions are delivered comfortably over a supervised sitting.
- Review & programme. Response and blood parameters are reviewed before any further sessions are scheduled.
